Mobile App

The Homecast mobile app lets you control your HomeKit devices from your phone, anywhere.

Platforms

  • iOS / macOS: Built with Mac Catalyst from the app-ios-macos project. Only the macOS build acts as a HomeKit relay; the iOS version is a client-only viewer that connects to a Mac relay.
  • Android / Windows / Linux: Built with Tauri from the app-android-windows-linux project. Wraps the web dashboard in a native shell.

Use the same account as the web dashboard. Open the app, enter your email and password, and your homes appear.

What you get

  • Homes tab — browse homes and rooms, control accessories with the same widgets as the web dashboard
  • Collections tab — view and control your custom accessory groups
  • Settings tab — account info and appearance preferences
